About Us

Cygnet /ˈsɪɡ.nət/ is the name for a baby swan. My husband grew up being the sygnet of his household and when we married I took on that name. Sygnet Creations specializes in unique fabric needs of its individual customers. We are here to make your comfort match your style.

My name is Amanda. I am the mom to four wonderful children and military wife for the last 11 years. I have grown up in the military and had a lot of first hand experience on making friends fast and keeping them for a lifetime. I am a big talker who enjoys good conversation, good friends, and lots of fun! I put a little bit of my heart and soul into my creations. I take great pride in what I make and can only hope I am able to share it with you and your family someday! Thank you for stopping by! Company history

I started making blankets in 2000 for local Airmen over the holidays. Shortly after, I began making neck pillows for my friends and family. With some advice from an old friend I opened my doors to "Sygnet Creations" in Apr 2007. Since then I have been making and selling my custom creations to people from all over the world.

In August 2007 I opened my online shop at Etsy.com. I have grown very fond of their online community and owe a lot of my success to fellow sellers and teams such as Homefront and EtsyFriends

My husband is excited to have this for our flight! He says especially with all the H1N1 stuff airlines were not giving out pillows and blankets on his last flight out to the mainland, so this will be a fantastic treat for our red eye, and 100 times better than what the airline could give us anyway!
